“We are going to contribute to improving the environment!”, a small group of enthusiastic residents of Veldhoven thought. They put their words into action and set up the Kringloop de Kempen Foundation in Veldhoven in 2000. To this day, we contribute to the environment by giving usable items a second life. Yet we are not a stuff company. Yes, we do sell them, but our core business is working with people. This makes our circular heart beat faster. We believe that everyone should be able to participate, wherever you come from and whatever your situation is.That is why the small-scale initiative has grown into a professional organization with a voluntary board, with multiple stores, with an increasing number of collaborations and with various quality marks that underline the professionalism of this environmentally conscious and social course. About 180 people are committed to this every week! But without all those sympathetic people who grant us their goods, surplus stuff - we affectionately call them our 'gunners' - and the people who find the most beautiful items from our shops - our 'discoverers' - the whole cycle wouldn't turn. Together with this loyal group of people who grant us their stuff and our explorers we can make the world a bit greener and more social. How beautiful is that?
